Cumbre del Sol urbanisation on the cliffs above the Mediterranean, white villas stepping down the ridge towards the Moraig headland

Costa Blanca North · Between Moraira and Jávea

Cumbre del SolLife on the ridge

A private residential resort on the cliffs between Moraira and Jávea. School, shops and sport on the hill, the coast's clearest cove directly below, two working towns within fifteen minutes.

Year-round

Not a summer urbanisation. The hill runs on school terms and winter mornings.

The supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants stay open through winter. The padel courts are booked on winter mornings. Everything listed here is on the hill itself, no car needed.

Cala del Moraig

The clearest cove on this coast is directly below the hill. Five minutes down.

At one end, a cave that divers swim through into open water. The 4 km Ruta de los Acantilados starts from the sand and follows the cliff line. Quiet in June and September.

Locals swim from May into October. The microclimate does most of the work.

The northern Costa Blanca microclimate is famously mild, sheltered by the Montgó massif and the clifftop itself. Winters stay gentle, summers are tempered by the sea.

Two towns

One town for the morning market. One for the old town. Ten and fifteen minutes.

Moraira & Jávea

The errands split themselves

Moraira

10 min

The small one. A marina, a morning market, seafood restaurants along the front. No high-rise anywhere in town, by rule. This is where the everyday happens: coffee, fish, a table by the water.

Jávea

15 min

The bigger one. An old town of narrow stone streets, beach clubs along the Arenal, a working port with a daily fish auction. Golf at La Sella sits just behind, under the Montgó.

The table

Eight Michelin stars within about half an hour of the hill.

One of the densest Michelin clusters in Spain outside the big cities. Dénia is a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. The everyday matters more: rice houses, harbour fish, the Dénia red prawn, market produce, a chiringuito at the cove.
